Sexiest ever Hollyoaks cast? Soap's actors and actresses turn out to welcome new counterparts at a party in Liverpool

Last night some of Hollyoaks' new additions ventured into Liverpool for a celebratory night out.
But despite being advertised as the soap's sexiest ever cast, they did little to outshine some of the old hands including Jennifer Metcalfe.
Various older faces from the current cast, including Jennifer, Jorgie Porter, Rachel Shenton and Hollie Jay Bowes, spent the evening at Liverpool's Hilton hotel along with some new faces to give themselves a well deserved pat on the back owing to the show's recent success.

Jennifer, who turned 28 earlier this month, wore an understated outfit comprising a slimming black playsuit, covered with a smart cream cardigan, a patterned scarf and strappy black heels.

 

She topped off the subdued ensemble with a large black bag.
However her co-stars Stephanie Davis and Rachel Shenton upped the glamour stakes, both wearing LBDs in different styles.

Casual: Jorgie Porter and Hollie Jay Bowes were not as dressed up as some of their fellow castmates including Jessica Forrest and Bianca Hendrickse-Spendlove

Stephanie, 18, slipped into her slinky number which had sheer sleeves and a revealing sheer section down her chest.
The young actress, who stars as Sinead O'Connor, matched her dress with a pair of black shoes and a matching black bag.
Meanwhile Rachel Shenton, who plays Ann "Mitzeee" Minniver, had a slight air of Cheryl Cole about her with her dimpled smile and basic LBD.

The 23-year-old accessorised her outfit with a pair of nude peep toe heels and a turquoise handbag.
More glamorous turns came from other female members of the cast including a double dose of red from Jessica Forrest (Leanne Holiday) and Bianca Hendrickse-Spendlove (Texas Longford).
Jessica opted for white accessories while Bianca added a black belt, tan desert boots and a cropped black jacket to her ensemble.

It's all brand new: Male cast members Danny Mac, James Atherton and Joe Tracini (son of Joe Pasquale)

Jorgie Porter and Hollie-Jay Bowes, 22, went for the casual look, though they'd obviously spent a little time on their make up.
Hollie kept to her slightly alternative mode of dress wearing a black, punky T-shirt emblazoned with an image from 1977 surrealist movie Eraserhead. She matched the top with a pair of leopard print leggings and black heels.
Meanwhile Jorgie, 23, wore a glittering jumper with a pair of tight leather trousers and burgundy heels with red soles.

Freshers: New cast members have arrived in Hollyoaks

The female contingent was rounded up by the likes of Jasme Franks, Anna Shaffer and Karen Hassan who sashayed into the Hilton wearing a delightful white number.
Elsewhere the male quota was filled by actors Danny Mac, James Atherton, Joe Tracini (son of Joe Pasquale), Dean Aspen and a crew of newer faces.
Joe Tracini has yet to appear on screen, but a source exclusive revealed to the MailOnline that the comedy gene has been passed down to him from his famous squeaky-voiced father.
The source said: 'Joe will play Dennis, a comedy character who will fill the shoes of Alex Carter (Lee) who's leaving. He's only just started filming but he's a great comedy actor and very similar to his dad.'
