With an alligator park rescue centre to promote, TV's Gator Boys had to decide how best to attract the publicity they needed.
So Paul Bedard and Jimmy Riffle had the bright idea of inviting a bevy of stunning swimsuit models to pose with the live reptiles on the latest episode of their Animal Planet reality show.
And the bikini clad ladies seemed to take to their task like a gator to water, despite their initial, and understandable fears.
Open jawed: One bikini clad beauty is instructed to pose standing over one alligator on the show which aired last night
The models were also introduced to a particularly striking alligator named Godzilla who they were instructed to sit on.
'All you've got to do is walk down round here, put your knee down like this and sit on him,' they were told, complete with some instructive miming.
Strike a pose: One model, dressed in a pink bikini showing off her svelte figure, bravely stepped over the alligator
Game for a try: Three of the models stand and watch the alligators, with differing levels of enthusiasm
Water babe: One of the models flashed the flesh as she stepped into the murky pool
The bikini-clad beauties then joked that Godzilla looked 'ready to cuddle,' and the giant alligator even fit three models on his back at the same time.
The models weren't the only ones who had to be brave, with a trepidacious cameraman filming all the action.

Pretty as a picture: The models retained their composure despite the scary task ahead
Glorious mud: The trio of models looked strangely comfortable perching on Godzilla the alligator
Three's a crowd: However the models didn't quite look so comfortable, when the camera captured their faces...
They are described as risking 'injury and death' in order to capture nuisance alligators that have invaded the backyards, swimming pools, garages and bedrooms of Florida Everglades residents.
They then return them to safety, away from the hands of trappers.
Gator Boys has been a success story on Animal Planet after beginning back in January, but Beddard and Riffle say they are just doing what they love.

In the thick of it: One reluctant model bravely ventures into the pool while the cameraman films
Demonstration: The ladies were able to follow instructions from the alligator experts
'There are very few days in my life that I can recall, that I wouldn't love to be able to live over 10 or 20 times. I'm the luckiest guy in the world.
'People think my friends and I are these really tough guys; because we work with all these dangerous animals, put our own stitches in and because I used to run a hundred miles a week and stuff, but they have no idea,'
