A short story: Day in the life of Caroline Flack (and her favourite pair of very short shorts)

It has certainly been the best of times and the worst of times for Caroline Flack.
She has been branded a cougar and sent death threats from die-hard One Direction fans furious about a potential romance with floppy haired Harry Styles.
But on the plus side the 32-year-old Xtra Factor host seems to have got her teenager after the 17-year-old was pictured leaving her house with an overnight bag this week.

And in the last 24 hours the TV presenter has been seen all about town, embracing the positive, in the same pair of very short black shorts.

 

Caroline, who defended any potential relationship with her teenage suitor, was seen returning home today in exactly the same pair of shorts she left in 24 hours earlier.
Yesterday the TV starlet was spotted in a light green jacket, towering heels, clutching a large overnight bag all teamed with those black shorts.

And this morning a rather glum-faced Caroline was spotted in the very same shorts, with a different handbag, returning to her London home.
Perhaps the presenter has decided to avoid having overnight guests at her own place after photographers spotted pint-sized budding popstar Harry leaving her home on Wednesday morning.
Earlier on Tuesday Caroline had been spotted buying food and wine for what appeared to be a romantic evening in - even though Harry is not legally old enough to drink.

And the presenter even opted for shorts, albeit denim ones, when she left home for the day this morning.
Clutching yet another large satchel Caroline looked decidedly happier than when she arrived home just hours earlier.
Caroline and her unlikely toyboy first sparked speculation of a romance back in October, when they shared a drunken kiss at a party and were caught on camera flirting during the reality series spin-off show broadcast on ITV2.

Harry was later quizzed about the kiss, which can be seen in the video below, but he fails deny the accusation while quipping that Caroline is 'hot'.
Just before the sleepover much speculation of are they or aren't they flooded the internet.
In response Caroline maintained she has done nothing wrong and that people simply 'aren't accepting of big age gaps'.

She said: 'I feel like I shouldn’t have to worry about what I do. But it’s a social thing that people aren’t accepting of big age gaps.'
Defending the 15 years between them, she told Now magazine: 'I keep thinking, "What have I done wrong?" But I haven’t done anything wrong.
'What’s hard for me to get my head around is people saying it’s disgusting. I don’t think it is.'
In 2009, Flack was rumoured to be dating Prince Harry, but she later claimed he was just a friend who she confided in following the breakdown of her three-year relationship with The Holloways drummer Dave Danger
