The lady really is a vamp! Kristen Stewart wows the crowd (AND boyfriend Robert Pattinson) in daring gown slit to the thigh at Twilight Breaking Dawn world premiere

It has been one of the most highly anticipated and hyped red-carpet events of the year, with fans camping out for days to get a glimpse of the movie idols.
And Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson certainly didn't disappoint as they made a stunning arrival for the world premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 in Los Angeles this evening.
The 21-year-old actress wowed the crowd in a daring purple sequinned gown by J Mendel slit to the thigh, which showed off her never-ending legs.

Arm-in-arm: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson arrived for the world premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 tonight in Los Angeles together

Kristen and Robert, 25, arrived at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live together.
The co-stars and real-life couple, who play lovers Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in the film, posed for the cameras with their arms wrapped tightly around one another.
Kristen paired her risque look with some black suede peeptoe platform pumps and wore her dark brunette locks hair in a messy updo while here eyes were made-up with a sultry smoky shadow.

But when signing autographs for for the fans, Kristin slipped into a pair of comfortable trainers to spare her feet.
Robert looked handsome in a charcoal slimline suit paired with a light-grey shirt and skinny black tie.
Speaking about the wedding scene, Kristen told reporters on the red carpet that it felt quite natural to her when on set.
'Didn't really think about it, to be honest,' she told E! News. 'The last way you want to remember something you've been building to for years is just actor-y, weird choices and neurotic weirdness. I remember things for the genuine experience, and that's rare.'

Rob had bigger concerns for this movie though - getting in shape for his shirtless scenes.
Asked about the pressure, he quipped: 'Pressure only in that I had to be in shape for the first time in this whole series.'
Meanwhile, one of the other film's female leads, Ashley Greene, drew gasps from the crowd by stepping onto the 'black carpet' in a strapless red tulle confection by Donna Karan, which complemented her stunning alabaster complexion and chestnut locks.

Dapper: Pattinson was sharp in shades of grey, while co-star Lautner went for a blue suit teamed with a red tie

The actress, who plays Alice Cullen in the film, finished off the look with lashings of red lipstick and her fingernails painted with Scarlett vanish, keeping with the apparent 'blood' theme.
Her co-star Nikki Reed, 23, almost gave her a run for her money looking every inch the Grecian goddess in a gorgeous green one-shouldered silk gown with beaded trim.
The newlywed was without her new husband Paul McDonald, whom she married just last month in Malibu. She also plays one of Edward Cullen's sisters Rosalie Hale.

The first Twilight male lead to arrive was Kellan Lutz, who looked handsome in a stylish all black ensemble.
The 26-year-old arrived on the arm of his new girlfriend, Australian actress Sharni Vinson, who looked stunning in a halterneck red gown and had had the bottom part of her brunette locks dyed red especially for the occasion.
Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt struck some sultry poses on the black carpet, showing off her curves in a corseted green satin shift dress.

The 32-year-old actress paired the look with some silver platform sandals and wore her long brunette hair in a blown-out wave.

Sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner made up some of the earlier arrivals to the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles.

The twosome looked cute in colour co-ordinated outfits: Kendall, who has just turned 16, wore a peach skirt and top, while sister Kylie, 14, donned a ruffled beige dress and sleeveless blouse.
Only last night the pair collected the Stylish Sisters gong at the Style Awards.

In an interview this week, Greene revealed that she will always share a special bond with her Twilight co-stars.
She said that her fellow actors - will always hold a special place in her heart, even though work on the final movie has been completed.
'I think just the relationships that were formed,' Greene told Collider when about her favourite part of shooting.

There's this feeling that you get when you walk out onto a carpet, especially at fan events, and just seeing the way that you affect these people and how passionate they are about something that I'm so passionate about,' she said.

In the much-anticipated fourth installment of the romance fantasy film, Pattinson's much-adored character Edward Cullen marries his long-term love Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart.

In early released shots from the film, Edward is seen awaiting his bride as she walks down the aisle.
He stands under a flowered bower, with rose petals littering the aisle. The couple's friends line each side of the aisle, looking back to see the bride's address.
However, the couple's happiness is short-lived when Bella unexpectedly becomes pregnant with a half-vampire half-human daughter who prefers sucking on her blood to drinking warm milk.

The rest of the two films see Bella fighting a lethal battle with her beastly unborn child that grows rapidly inside her, feeding off her blood which eventually  sees Bella on her death bed.
This forces Edward to make the life-changing decision to either lose the human Bella he loves forever or to finally give into her dying wish and give her the eternal life she has been asking for.
Breaking Dawn: Part 2 - the final film in the franchise - will not be released until next November.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is released in cinemas on November 18 in the U.S. and the UK.
