As the daughter of a woman who has her finger firmly on the style pulse, it was only a matter of time before she would be attending her first fashion show.
Or fashion week in Harper Beckham's case, who has made her first trip to New York with her designer mother Victoria for the start of the stylish event.
And before she was introduced to the couture elite at the start of the city's fashion week, she made her Manhattan debut outside their hotel.
Cuddle up: Victoria Beckham holds baby daughter Harper close to her as they leave the Plaza hotel in New York
Harper, who was dressed in a very cute black and white top and shorts, didn't make any fuss as she clung to her mother, despite the crowd of fans and cameras on hand to greet them.
I'm sleepy, Mummy: Harper gazes up from her mother's shoulder through bleary eyes
Firm grip: Victoria keeps Harper close to her as they arrive at the Plaza Hotel
Victoria, 37, looked very elegant in a calf-length magenta dress from her label's new autumn/winter collection.
Hanging around: Harper slumped comfortably in her mother's arms as she started to fall asleep
Victoria and Harper are in the city for the start of New York Fashion Week today, and the former Spice Girl took to her Twitter page to declare: 'Mummy and baby Harper are very excited for fashion week!!! X VB'
Baby weight be gone: As someone else took over holding Harper, Victoria was able to show off her post-baby figure in a simple yet elegant and clingy long magenta dress
A mother's love: Victoria gently kisses Harper on her head as they leave the Four Seasons hotel where they are staying fro the event
Victoria gave a hint of what can be expected from the collection and said she had tried to create 'the perfect little summer dress, something that was fun, something that was girly, something that was easy to wear, something that would take you from day through the night.'
Centre of attention: All eyes were on Victoria and Harper as they got out of their car and made their way inside the Plaza for lunch
