Which means that appearing in such a show also makes life a little easier for its stars, in most cases, as you can see from these pictures of Jerseylicious star Lorenzo Gangala and his girlfriend.
The intern at Anthony Roberts Salon, which is where the programme is based, took a leisurely stroll along the beach with his girlfriend Briana MacDonald in these newly-released pictures.

Lorenzo walked hand in hand with his girlfriend who showed off her toned physique in a tiny black two-piece bikini.

The couple chilled on their beach for a while before frolicking with one another as they got up and put their clothes back on before heading home.
Briana tried to grab Lorenzo's shorts, while he appeared to try to throw her into the sand, much to her discomfort.

Later Lorenzo planted a loving kiss on his girlfriend, looking smooth as you like in his back to front baseball cap.
The couple then headed off and made their way back along the beach to no doubt spend the evening together.

The show has been running since 2010 and has made headlines owing to its fight scenes, some of which have caused outcry.
For instance, in July this year an apparently scripted fight scene got out of hand when one of the show's stars, Olivia Bloise Sharp, kicked another, Tracey DiMarco, in the head.
After the incident, which you can see below, Tracey said: 'I thought that I had got knocked out by a bouncer.

What now? Perhaps the couple headed off for dinner somewhere in New Jersey

'I remember my arm hurting. My arm hurt really, really bad and my head was pounding and everything was blurry.
'To kick somebody in the head is to really want to cause damage to somebody. You have to really want to hurt them badly.'
She added: 'I don't want to retaliate. I just want it to be over. I don't want to fight with her. I don't ever want it to get to that point where you feel like you could possibly kill someone. I'm lucky that she didn't have her heel on.'
