They have always been dressed to the nines filming for The Only Way Is Essex but the new series is set to be the glitziest yet, if Sam Faiers' dress is anything to go by.
The reality TV star was seen arriving at Sugar Hut in Brentwood to film a piece for the show and her outfit did seem a little overdressed.
Sam, 20, arrived in a low cut sparkling dress and with its shoulder pads, delving neckline and split skirt seemed slightly inappropriate for a regular day about town.

The model turned boutique owner teamed the shimmering ensemble, which had taken inspiration from Eighties fashions, with a pair of loud animal print wedges and a mismatched printed handbag.
Earlier in the day Sam had tweeted that she was filming for the reality show, which is set up in part and it could be that the producers had decided to shoot a night scene in the middle of the day, which could account for the overdressed ensemble.

Or given their rising profile since the start of the show the cast might feel it is appropriate to dress like they are strutting the red carpet in Hollywood rather than the pavements of Essex.

Sam tweeted that she was getting ready for being back behind the camera with plenty of preparation.
She posted: ‘Getting ready for a bit of filming today :-) x x x rollers in, eyelashes on !! X’
Sam joins the old cast, with a few new faces, but minus her friend Amy Childs, who has left the show after deciding to go on Celebrity Big Brother, which starts later this week.
